This study aims to analyze the implementation of the integration between the national and international curricula in educational institutions through a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) using the PRISMA approach. The integration of both curricula is seen as a strategic effort to improve the quality of education and prepare students for global competitiveness. Data were collected from 15 journal articles published between 2010 and 2025, selected based on inclusion and exclusion criteria through Google Scholar and Scopus databases. The findings were categorized into five major themes: policy and regulatory challenges, teacher competence and professional development, curriculum design and alignment, assessment and evaluation systems, and stakeholder involvement and communication. The results show that curriculum integration generally takes the form of curriculum mapping, which aligns national learning outcomes with international standards such as Cambridge and IB. This integration enriches the learning process by combining local values with global perspectives, fostering critical thinking, collaboration, and intercultural awareness among students. However, the study also reveals several obstacles, including inconsistent educational policies, differences in assessment systems, and unequal teacher training distribution. Despite these challenges, the overall impact of curriculum integration is positive, particularly in improving learning quality and students’ global competencies. Therefore, stable policies, ongoing professional development, and strong collaboration among stakeholders are essential to ensure sustainable and balanced implementation of dual curricula in Indonesian education.
