The Law Study Program Journal of Jakarta State University, namely EduLegis : Journal of Legal Studies, is committed to becoming a legal journal that fosters legal knowledge and legal education while promoting social justice in Indonesia and globally. The focus of EduLegis Journal encompasses the discipline of law from theoretical, interdisciplinary, comparative, and other conceptual perspectives, oriented toward legal theory, legal education, law drafting, and legal reform in Indonesia and internationally. This focus defines the scope (though not limited, depending on context) of studies in: Legal Education, Legal Drafting, Comparative Law, Public Law (Criminal, Administrative, Tax, etc.), Private Law (Civil, Customary, Islamic, Business, etc.), International Law (Private International Law, Maritime, Human Rights, Environmental, etc.), as well as other legal studies such as Sociology of Law, Legal Anthropology, Philosophy of Law, Law and Forensics, Criminology, Victimology, Correctional Law, Law and Technology, Law and Gender Studies, and other related legal issues in broader contexts, including social, economic, political, security, educational, and cultural aspects. Regarding research categories in EduLegis, articles may be written using quantitative or qualitative approaches and may adopt various research designs such as surveys, experiments, case studies, grounded theory, phenomenology, ethnography, and others.
