IJLECR (International Journal of Language Education and Cultural Review) is committed to ensuring the long-term preservation, accessibility, integrity, and sustainability of its published scholarly content through internationally recognized digital preservation systems, including the Public Knowledge Project Preservation Network (PKP PN) and LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe).
1. PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN)
IJLECR supports long-term digital preservation through the PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN), a digital archiving service developed by the Public Knowledge Project (PKP) for journals using Open Journal Systems (OJS).
The PKP PN utilizes distributed preservation technology to safeguard published articles, journal issues, and associated metadata against potential data loss, technological failures, or discontinuation of journal operations. Through the PKP PN plugin, eligible journal content can be automatically deposited into a secure preservation network, ensuring that scholarly publications remain preserved for future generations.
The preservation system maintains archived content in a secure environment and provides mechanisms for restoring public access under designated circumstances when the original journal content becomes permanently unavailable.

2. LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe)
IJLECR recognizes LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) as an important digital preservation technology designed to ensure the authenticity, integrity, and long-term availability of scholarly publications.
LOCKSS employs a decentralized and distributed archiving approach, maintaining multiple copies of digital content across participating preservation nodes. These copies are regularly compared and verified to detect and repair potential data corruption or loss.
Through its integration with the PKP Preservation Network, LOCKSS technology provides an additional layer of protection for scholarly publications, supporting the long-term preservation of research articles and related academic materials.
