Manuscript Type

The IJLECR (International Journal of Language Education and Cultural Review) is an international, double-blind peer-reviewed, open-access journal that exclusively accepts and publishes Original Research Articles. The journal is committed to disseminating original empirical research that advances theoretical knowledge, methodological innovation, and practical applications in language education, linguistics, literature, cultural studies, and intercultural education. IJLECR provides a scholarly platform for researchers, academics, and professionals to communicate significant research findings and contribute to international academic discourse.

Original Research Articles

Original Research Articles present original, unpublished empirical findings that make substantial contributions to the development of knowledge in the fields covered by IJLECR. Manuscripts may employ quantitative, qualitative, or mixed-methods research approaches, including experimental and quasi-experimental studies, surveys, ethnographic research, case studies, classroom action research, discourse analysis, corpus-based research, and research and development. All manuscripts must demonstrate clearly formulated research objectives, appropriate theoretical frameworks, rigorous research methodologies, systematic data analysis, and significant findings supported by empirical evidence.

IJLECR welcomes original research addressing first, second, and foreign language teaching and learning; language in education; language planning and testing; curriculum design and development; multilingualism and multilingual education; discourse analysis; translation; clinical linguistics; literature and teaching; forensic linguistics; sociolinguistics; psycholinguistics; neurolinguistics; cultural studies and cultural education; and intercultural education. Research articles should contribute new theoretical perspectives, empirical evidence, methodological insights, or practical implications relevant to these fields.

Manuscript Structure and Requirements

All Original Research Articles must follow the IJLECR manuscript preparation guidelines and generally include the following sections: Title, Author Information, Abstract, Keywords, Introduction, Research Method, Results and Discussion, Conclusions, and References. Manuscripts must be written in academic English, with a title of no more than 12 words, a single-paragraph abstract of 200–250 words, and three to five keywords. References must follow the American Psychological Association (APA) style, with at least 80% drawn from relevant journal articles, conference proceedings, or research publications published within the last five years.

Manuscript Eligibility and Editorial Evaluation

IJLECR does not accept standalone literature reviews, conceptual papers, theoretical essays, opinion articles, book reviews, or manuscripts that do not present original research findings. All submissions must be original, must not have been previously published, and must not be under consideration for publication elsewhere. Submitted manuscripts undergo initial editorial screening to assess their relevance, originality, methodological quality, compliance with the journal's author guidelines, and adherence to publication ethics. Manuscripts that meet these requirements proceed to a double-blind peer-review process. Final publication decisions are based on scholarly merit, research originality, methodological rigor, and contributions to the journal's focus and scope.
