Jurnal Pendidikan Teknik dan Vokasi (JPTV) Volume 8 Nomor 2 Tahun 2025 memuat delapan artikel yang merepresentasikan keberagaman kajian dan inovasi dalam bidang pendidikan teknik, vokasi, desain, serta teknologi terapan. Edisi ini menghadirkan penelitian di bidang desain busana yang mengeksplorasi sumber inspirasi alam dan kearifan lokal, seperti ikan Betta Halfmoon Rosetail dan pamor Sekar Kopi, yang dikembangkan menjadi desain busana ready to wear deluxe berbasis digital dengan pendekatan futuristik dan cyberpunk. Selain itu, kajian tentang pengaruh pengetahuan kewirausahaan terhadap minat berwirausaha siswa SMK menegaskan pentingnya pembentukan jiwa kewirausahaan sejak dini dalam pendidikan vokasi. Pada bidang teknik otomotif dan pembelajaran kejuruan, edisi ini memuat pengembangan media pembelajaran video interaktif pada materi overhaul cylinder head dan cylinder block, serta penelitian tentang optimasi kinerja mesin kendaraan berbahan bakar gas LPG melalui variasi tekanan gas dan waktu pengapian. Artikel mengenai identifikasi peralatan praktikum di workshop kayu serta analisis kebutuhan media pembelajaran pada mata kuliah desain interior turut melengkapi edisi ini sebagai upaya peningkatan kualitas sarana dan proses pembelajaran praktik. Secara keseluruhan, edisi ini menegaskan konsistensi JPTV dalam menyajikan hasil penelitian yang relevan, aplikatif, dan berkontribusi pada pengembangan pendidikan teknik dan vokasi yang adaptif terhadap perkembangan teknologi dan kebutuhan dunia kerja.

Jurnal Pendidikan Teknik dan Vokasional is a journal published by Lembaga Penelitian dan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat, Universitas Negeri Jakarta. Jurnal Pendidikan Teknik dan Vokasional is a journal that publishes original research articles and reviews articles relevant to Technical and Vocational Education. Jurnal Pendidikan Teknik dan Vokasional is published twice a year periodically, every June and December. Each number of the journal publishes eight articles.

A manuscript submitted is evaluated through Initial Review by Editorial Board. Editorial Board will check the manuscript regarding the scope, originality, novelty sufficiency of experimental data, and format. At least two peer reviewers are assigned to review the manuscript with the Blind Review Process. Two weeks is a location time given to peer reviewers to evaluate the manuscript. After the review process is finished, the assigned editor decides on the article. If the article needs revision, the manuscript is returned to the authors to revise. These processes take a month (maximum time). If the decision is major revision or resubmission, the revised manuscript that has been resubmitted by the submitter is sent back to the previous peer reviewers for re-evaluation. After that, the editor makes the final decision (accepted or rejected). Peer reviewers will be rated based on substantial and technical aspects. The peer reviewer assignment depends on the expertise and experiences in research and publication relevant to the field of the manuscript to be reviewed.

Authors who will send manuscripts to Jurnal Pendidikan Teknik dan Vokasional must fulfil all the applicable provisions in Jurnal Pendidikan Teknik dan Vokasional. The submitted manuscript is the original work of the author and is free from plagiarism. The author must upload a statement stating that:

  1. the submitted manuscript has never been published in other media publications,
  2. the manuscript submitted is not being processed in other publication media, and
  3. the submitted manuscript will not be submitted to other publication media until the issuance of the decision on the manuscript (accepted or rejected) by the Editorial Board.
