Vol. 8 No. 1 (2026): COMMUNICATIONS

COMMUNICATIONS Vol. 8 No. 1 (January 2026) collectively examine contemporary issues in communication studies from diverse empirical and theoretical perspectives. The studies explore topics including community-based branding and MSME empowerment, digital and social media practices, communication strategies in local and institutional contexts, media literacy, and socio-cultural dynamics in mediated communication. Using predominantly qualitative approaches, the articles highlight how communication practices shape identity, participation, empowerment, and meaning-making in everyday social settings. Together, these contributions strengthen the journal’s focus on applied communication research and offer critical insights for scholars, practitioners, and policymakers in the evolving media and communication landscape.
