SUMMARY. Susetyo, et al., in their paper, analyzed the effect of polarity and cooling medium on the surface hardness value of low carbon steel hard facing. Sopiyan and Syamsuir, in their paper, carried out the hard-facing process using the SMAW type, with DC+ polarity, 130A current, and 350 HV electrodes and then heat treatment. Sari and Prasetyo, in their paper, analyzed low carbon steel that had been welded by the E6013 electrode and added carbon (C), then heated at 1000 oC for 20 minutes and then cooled rapidly by quenching with coolant to increase hardness. Basori, et al., in their paper, analyzed the factors causing the failure of the bus leaf spring with a capacity of 7 tons. Syaripuddin, et al., in their paper, discusses the effect of nickel plating and the addition of carbon elements on the E6013 electrode on the mechanical properties of low carbon steel welding results regarding the hardness value. Sugita, et al., in their paper, carried out the process of designing an egg incubator with a hybrid energy source. Dwiyati, et al., in their paper, made efforts to increase the hardness of carbon steel material with variations in holding time and variations in cooling media. Syamsuir, et al., in their paper, analyzed the effect of stirring when coating copper on aluminum on the corrosion rate.
