Abstract

The cultivation of a culture of politeness within educational institutions is instrumental in the development of character and in the establishment of a harmonious and productive academic milieu. This research meticulously investigates the contributions of school administrators, educators, and students in promoting and maintaining the culture of politeness in educational settings. Utilizing a qualitative literature review in conjunction with a case study focused on the application of the 5S culture (Smile, Greeting, Addressing, Politeness, Courteousness), the analysis elucidates the roles of each stakeholder in the creation of a supportive and respectful educational environment. The findings indicate that the collaborative interaction among these three roles is essential for the effective and enduring maintenance of the culture of politeness.
