JSQ conducts direct marketing activities ethically, transparently, and moderately. Our marketing goal is to support the dissemination of high-quality research in the field of Quranic Studies and Tafsir.
2. Marketing Methods
Marketing is primarily conducted through:
- Targeted Call for Papers emails to relevant scholars and researchers.
- Newsletters or announcements sent to registered OJS users.
- Official academic Social Media platforms.
3. Ethical Standards
- Accuracy: All information regarding scope, fees (APC), peer-review processes, and indexing is clear, honest, and non-misleading.
- Anti-Spam: Communication frequency is kept to a minimum to respect recipient privacy.
- Integrity: Marketing efforts are separate from editorial decisions; all submissions must undergo standard double-blind peer review.
4. Privacy & Opt-Out
- Data Security: JSQ never shares or sells contact databases to third parties.
- Unsubscribe Right: Every marketing email provides a clear "Unsubscribe" option or instructions to opt out of future communications.
