Archiving and Electronic Filing Policy

JSQ: Jurnal Studi Al-Qur’an

JSQ is committed to keeping every article it publishes preserved and permanently accessible. This policy explains how published content is archived, how authors may deposit their own work, and how editorial records are kept.

In brief: All JSQ articles are stored on the journal website, in the UNJ Repository, and in the PKP Preservation Network, and each has a permanent DOI. Authors may self-archive any version of their article without asking permission and without an embargo.

1. Journal Archiving and Digital Preservation

Journal Website

All issues and articles are available in full text on the Archives page. The server is maintained by Universitas Negeri Jakarta.

UNJ Repository

Published articles are also deposited in the Repository of Universitas Negeri Jakarta, so they remain accessible even if the journal stops publishing.

PKP Preservation Network

Content is preserved through the PKP PN, a LOCKSS-based network that keeps copies in distributed archives in case the journal website becomes unavailable.

Digital Object Identifier

Every article receives a Crossref DOI (prefix 10.21009), which serves as a permanent identifier and a stable link to the article.

Indexing Services

Metadata and full texts are distributed through SINTA, Garuda, DOAJ, Dimensions, and Google Scholar. See Indexing.

Internal Backups

The journal server is backed up regularly so that articles, metadata, and editorial records can be restored if needed.

2. Author Self-Archiving Policy

JSQ articles are published under the CC BY 4.0 license, and authors retain copyright. Authors may self-archive their work without requesting permission and without an embargo period.
