Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of principal leadership and organizational communication on Generation Z teachers' job satisfaction through a systematic literature review approach. Using the PRISMA 2020 guidelines, 25 articles from four major electronic databases were thematically analyzed to identify patterns, themes, and research gaps. Findings indicate that empowering and transformational leadership have significant positive impacts on Generation Z teachers' job satisfaction, with organizational learning, organizational commitment, and psychological capital as important mediators. Organizational communication plays a crucial role through mentorship programs and organizational emotional support. Work-life balance emerges as the most dominant factor in determining Generation Z teachers' job satisfaction, followed by technology support and continuous professional development. The unique characteristics of Generation Z as digital natives demand inclusive, collaborative leadership approaches responsive to technology needs and work flexibility. This study recommends developing holistic educational human resource management strategies that integrate empowering leadership styles, participatory communication systems, clear work-life balance policies, and adequate technological infrastructure to enhance Generation Z teachers' job satisfaction and overall educational quality.
